Choosing Your Location
You’ll receive access to my curated location menu featuring some of my favorite Northern California locations. Each location has been thoughtfully selected for its beautiful light, natural scenery, and timeless feel. Together, we’ll choose the setting that best fits the vision for your session.
During Your Session
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide you with flattering poses, natural movement, and gentle prompts so you feel comfortable and confident while creating authentic moments with the people you love.

Signature Family Sessions begin at $350. Your session includes:

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my family session?
I recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, especially if you’re hoping for a fall date or a weekend session. These times of year tend to fill quickly.
Where will my family session take place?
After booking, you’ll receive access to my curated location menu featuring some of my favorite Northern California locations. Each location has been selected for its beautiful light, natural scenery, and family friendliness, allowing you to choose the setting that best fits your family.
What time will my family session take place?
Outdoor family sessions are scheduled during golden hour—the hour before sunset—when the light is soft, warm, and beautifully flattering. The exact start time will vary depending on the season and your chosen location
Can we keep our photos private?
Absolutely. I understand that every family has a different level of comfort when it comes to sharing images online. A model release is included with your session agreement, giving me permission to use select images for my portfolio, website, and social media. If you prefer to keep your portraits private, you may opt out, and your wishes will always be respected.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
If you need to reschedule your session, please reach out as soon as possible. Your nonrefundable retainer may be applied to one future session within six months when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session and no-shows cannot be rescheduled. Full details are included in your signed contract.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a Signature Session Style Guide filled with wardrobe inspiration and tips for coordinating your family’s outfits. If you’d like a little extra guidance, your session also includes personalized styling support—simply text me your outfit ideas or questions, and I’ll be happy to help you create a timeless, cohesive look.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Don’t worry—it’s one of the most common concerns I hear. My sessions are designed with children in mind, and I use gentle guidance, games, movement, and prompts to keep little ones engaged. The result is capturing genuine connection and personality!
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?
You’re not alone—almost every family tells me this before their session! You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about what to do. I’ll guide you every step of the way with flattering direction, natural prompts, and simple movement that helps everyone feel comfortable. The result is a beautiful mix of timeless portraits and genuine moments that feel like you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule your session for the next available date with beautiful conditions so that you have the best possible experience and portraits.
